Monica and James Dailey are the parents of 14 children, soon to be 16 with the homecoming of Eden (age 6) and Adanya (age 2). James Dailey was a pilot for the Navy for many years, and currently flies commercially for United Airlines. Monica Dailey is a stay-at-home Mom who has homeschooled all of her children and is passionate about adoption.

They have 4 biological children. When their youngest biological child was 4 they felt God calling them to adopt.

They adopted for the first time from Vietnam in 2002, and have since brought home children from China, Ghana, and Guatemala. They have 3 sons from China, 2 daughters from Ghana, 1 son from Ghana, 2 sons from Vietnam and 1 daughter from Vietnam. They also have a son from Guatemala.

Their journey to each of their children has been a blessing to them and their children at home.

SIGNED LOA OFF TO CHINA

Praising God and thankful another step in our process is complete.  Our signed LOA is on its way back to China. This paper is signed by us, James and Monica, agreeing to adopt Adanya and Eden.  We agreed the day God presented them to us:)  This paper  heading to China gets us one step closer to our Travel Approval.

Please be in prayer for our I800 paperwork to be processed without delay.  We would also covet prayers for our preparations here at home, for 2  new sisters.

While we are waiting , the Dailey clan has been keeping busy.  Salmon season has opened !  Jakob and Joseph have been out twice.  On their second day, Joseph caught a beauty.

Rachel is performing for a FUN raiser , we are now calling it.  She composed some amazing pieces to accompany poetry for her senior project.  She agreed to perform this weekend for a fundraiser for our adoption process.  As we prepared for this, I kept feeling God telling me to seek joy; therefore , FUN raiser.  He will provide all that we need.  He has shown me SO many times.  I am thankful.

Our family began the process of adopting Adanya and Eden in October of 2014.  We have been so blessed to see God unfold this process and carry us each step of the way.  From the beginning when we were approved first to adopt Eden, our 6 year old daughter waiting for us in China, to the moment China agreed to allow us to bring home a second child, our daughter Adanya who is 2 years old.

As of  August 6, 2015 we have submitted all of our paperwork to China and have also submitted our I800 paperwork.   We should be traveling to China to bring home our daughters in November 2015.

We are thankful for the wonderful prayers for our family as we stepped out to adopt again.    Several of our friends and family have asked how they might contribute to our adoption process.  Most importantly we would ask that you pray specifically for Adanya and Eden,  that their hearts will be prepared for their new family.  Pray for our family here as the adjustment of adding to our family is, although an amazing and exciting time, it is also huge shift for everyone.

If you do feel God leading you to help financially with the cost of our adoption process a wonderful organization called Shepherds Crook makes the process very simple.  They have graciously created an account for our family online.  Donations can be made by check or directly online.
